Fertilizers provide the nutrients needed to kick start the germination of the grass seeds in the hydroseeding mixture. They are labeled by the amount of ingredients in them - Nitrogen - Phosphorous - Potassium. There are many different types of fertilizers, but these are the three most common fertilizers that we use.
